*PhD in Clinical Psychology from Univ of Waterloo in 1992; thesis on individualized and optimized human performance factors in sport; year-long internship at Univ of Manitoba Health Sciences Centre; ran for varsity Track and Cross-country teams and became Head Coach at Univ of Waterloo for 2 yrs.

*BA from Univ of Tennessee, double major in Philosophy and Psychology "with highest honours;" ranked #1 at UT for ISEP student exchange program and attended Flinders Univ of South Australia for 1 yr; chosen to represent philosophy undergrads on Dean's Council; ran for UT varsity Track and Cross-country teams
